汉语中相同意思的表达可以正说也可以反说，英语里也可以。可以用否定词、反义词表达，也可以用含有否定意思的词表达。比如以下例子：
1、 他是外乡人。
He is a stranger here. (正说)/ He is not a native.（反说）
2、 他的解释不能让人满意。
His explanation is far from satisfactory.
3、 油漆未干
Wet paint
4、 男儿有泪不轻弹，只因未到伤心处。
Men only weep when deeply hurt. / Men never weep unless and until deeply hurt.
5、 ---你觉得这部电影怎么样？---What do you think of this film?
---不错。                ---Not bad. / Good.
6、 他不愿意接受那份工作。
He refused to accept that job. / He was not willing to accept that job.
