Description
The United Nations Integrated Office in Burundi (BINUB) at Bujumbura, Burundi has a requirement for the Provision of Travel Services. The full Scope of Requirement will be distributed in a Request for Proposal. It is anticipated that the Contract which would result from this exercise will start in 1 November 2010 for one year, with an option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods. Because of the nature of the requirement, only local companies and companies/contractors willing to put up a presence or branch in Burundi are encouraged and will be qualified to participate in the tender. Companies interested in participating in the tender must provide the following: • Company profile • Company’s experience in Travel Services • List of previously completed and current contracts including volumes and value of each contract; • Company’s audited Financial Statements; and • Copies of relevant/business registrations and applicable licenses. The certificate of registration/licenses with local authorities will be required at the time of award. Prospective vendors whose Expression of Interest (EOI) does not address the above criteria to the satisfaction of BINUB shall not be invited to participate in the tenders. Only prospective vendors that responded and are deemed qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of their application will receive the final solicitation document. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the request for EOI and/or solication process. Thus, submitting an Expression of Interest does not automatically guarantee that your firm will be considered for receipt of the solication documents when issued. This request for EOI does not constitute a solicitation. Please also note that companies interested in participating in the tender must also confirm in writing that they are willing to be bound by the terms and conditions of the United Nations General Conditions of Contract available on request from procurementb@un.org and which shall be part of the Contract that will be issued as a result of the tender. Unregistered vendors are encouraged to register with BINUB/the United Nations by submitting a written request to Email address: procurementb@un.org or accessing the website http://www.ungm.org/.
