南苏丹发展合作总局请求联合国项目事务厅参与落实意大利政府提供的初等教育援助项目。协议规定，UNOPS是项目实施机构，负责南苏丹湖泊州的学校评估、具体设计以及建造/修缮工程。数十年的内战使南苏丹的基础设施已经荡然无存。该项目的总体目标是增加学校招生及在校（尤其是女孩子）的人数，使学生至少完成小学头四年的教育。

The General Directorate of Development Cooperation requests the partnership of UNOPS in the implementation of an intervention financed out of available resources by the Government of Italy aimed at supporting primary education in South Sudan .As per the agreement UNOPS is the implementing agency to undertake the school’s assessment, detailed design and construction/rehabilitation of schools in Lakes State in Southern Sudan. In Southern Sudan, after decades of civil war, infrastructure is virtually non-existent. The overall aim of this project is to increase school enrolment and participation especially for girls enabling student to complete at least the first four years of the primary school cycle.
United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) now invites sealed bids from bidders for the construction of Agony Primary school, Rumbek County in Lakes State, South Sudan.

Special Procurement Conditions

Bids must be submitted on or before May 5, 2010 at 12:00 Sudan local time following the instruction provided in clause four of ITB (4. SUBMISSION OF BIDS).
